You really can teach an Old Dog New Tricks
I know the title of this post is a little confusing, but I wanted it to be.
I must admit that I am a complete novice when it comes to Twitter. I couldn’t understand why so many Internet marketers were trying to get me to follow them. Why would I follow them, I hardly even now how to use Twitter, so “following them was a complete waste of my time.
Thats was until Iread this article How to Use Twitter to Grow Your Business. I came across it yesterday and it actually made sense to me. So first thingthis morning I went to Twitter and got myself an account.
After reading afew articles on how to make the most of Twitter as a pro-blogger, I registered the name wordpressprofit. Fitting isn’t it? I haven’t got many followers yet and apparently the trick to generating a profitable Twitt is to be very particualr who you follow.
In another article I read this morning (sorry I can’t remember were i read it) it suggested that you keep your followers at a ratio of 2.1. Two being “followed” and the one being “following”. I guess it will make sense to me at some stage.

It’s rather exciting! I have been very successful in the old hat ways of marketing my online business, but this Old Dog can learn new tricks and Twitter and tweets will be another tool in my blogging arsenal.

Next day and I have nearly 10 followers.

Previously i tried marketing with twitter. To increase the amount of the follower, you need to keep following and then unfollowing the top players with a lot of followers. I tried, and in just 10 mins, i got like 10 followers.

I have no idea how or why twitter works, i must be missing something. To be honest I think I’d rather write an article in the time i can follow or unfollow. But then I just read if I’m not being successful it just means there is something I don’t know.. i agree with that.
