Use the All in One SEO Pack Plugin to optimize your blog posts for search engine traffic. A step-by-step approach.
Using WordPress as a website or blog is a fantastic idea and allows for the posting of unique content on the internet every day. The biggest goal for a WordPress owner wanting to make money online is to have as many people as possible reading their articles and then benefiting from them.
WordPress comes with numerous tools and widgets that can make a bloggers life easier, but out of the box, WordPress needs help and WordPress has allowed for that will the utility of additional applications called “Plugins“. These little applications will add additional functions to your website. One of the most popular is “All In One SEO“.
One of the nightmares of owning a monetized website is getting people to our websites. It’s easy to just develop a website and hope for the best, but in every case we have to do some fine tuning to make sure the search engines know what our website is about. This fine tuning is called “Search Engine Optimization” or SEO and WordPress does not allow for more advanced fine tuning other than the use of tags. So just like a mechanic needs a special tool to fine tune or cars, WordPress owners need a tool that allows us to fine tune our web pages. This is were the All In One SEO WordPress plugin comes in handy.
The All In One Seo plugin lets a WordPress owner customize their contents title, description and keywords for easier search ability by the search engines. Basically, by performing this content fine tuning we are making it easier for the search engines to work out what you websites content is about. The better we do this fine tuning the better search results for our websites.
The All In One SEO plugin is used for the optimization of your web pages and blog posts. Once installed and the plugin is activated all you need to do is go to the All In One SEO Administration page, fill in a few fields and you are away. Then each time you a add a post or page to your WordPress website, you will be able to add a custom page title, page description and then keywords and keyword phrases that best describe your post or page.
You will find the required fields underneath the post editor. Usually it is the first field you will come to when you scroll down the page, however if you have other post editing plugins installed you may find that the All In One SEO fields are nearer to the bottom of the page.
All In One SEO features:

The all in one seo is one of the best plugins you can have if you really want to monetise your blog and move up those rankings. I wish I’d found it earlier but I was a little naive when I started…still it’s all a learning curve isn’t it?
I would like to recommend the Platinum SEO Pack, it has more useful options than the all in one seo pack. There are more nofollow selections, additional post, page and home headers, you can nofollow all of the outgoing links on just the front page, you can add the noydir meta tag, the noodp meta tag, you can use the option for noindex on sub pages and my favorite option of all is all of the options that it gives you on each individual post and page of your wordpress blog.
Those are just a few of the things that I can think of off the top of my head. The fact of the matter is that I have used both and have found that I am in greater control of my websites on-page seo than when I was using the All in One SEO Pack.
I havnt had a look at the Platinum SEO Pack yet. Most of my visitors want a basic seo tool and maybe Platinum SEO Pack is way too complicated?
But for those of you who want to have a look: http://techblissonline.com/platinum-seo-pack/
