link exchanging works in 2 ways that benifit the online marketer.

1. It gives your website credibility with the search engines.
2. You get natural visitors to your site from sites that link to you.

I don't know about you, but I will take targeted traffic from anywhere and link exchanging has worked very well for me.

I have been stumbling thru www.stumbleupon.com since last century in fact i think it was 1998 if I remember rightly. One thing you have to think about when using the stumble system is that these are people your dealing with and you may get 12000 people one day or month and none there after.

You need to be considerate that being said.

I don't exactly understand how link exchange works. Ok if someone is really to exchnage links with you where do you add that link?
