Monday, June 4th, 2007 | Google Adsense, Traffic Generation, Web 2.0 Tips with No Comments »

Just before I went away, I came across a site called Authority Black Book. This site wasn’t much and offered a free pdf download of an ebook that was suposidly full of information about web 2.0 marketing techniques. I must download at least 10 marketing ebooks a week, but this one looked interesting so I downloaded it.

This ebook is a gem! I can’t believe how much information is in this book. And the guy gives it away free. I am not an idiot so I do know it’s a bait to entice me into buying more products from me, but if this is the free stuff I might just pay for the other stuff. If you want some absolutely fantastic information on how to promote your website using web 2.0 platform, you have to get this ebook.

  • Comments you add to someone profile can also have html in it?
  • You can customise and add anything you want to the area called “About Me” and yes, you can add html in there too.

Google Alerts allow you to add a search term and they will email you as soon as the googlebot finds a reference to it. I have been using Google Alerts for over 2 years. I was told about it by a friend and since then have added dozens of search terms following every move those terms have made.

Basically Google added this service to allow users to get the latest information on a search term they have made an alert for. For example you may want to know when Google finds the latest information on the Sony DX2 Digital cameras. Googlebot during it roaming of the internet will email you with it’s results of any new information on the Sony DX2 Digital camera. Fanastic isnt it?
