We often hear the phrase “the money is in the list”. Even though it is certainly true, why is it so?
Every successful internet marketer will praise the fact that they have made their fortunes by building a modest email list, with members gathered by all means of systems and techniques. But, why are these email lists so profitable.
Well from a person who is trying to build a qualiyty list of keen members, hungry for information on website promotion and internet marketing, I thought I would be the best person to answer this question.

This one if for all those Google Adwords PPC advertisers out there.
I logged into my Google Adwords account this morning after checking the channel reports in Google Adsense. A channel I had setup for a specific page I was buying PPC for wasn’t generating any impressions or or money. Which for me was very strange.
The first thing which is a curse for us Adwords advertisers is the highlighted notification at the top saying that all my ads had been de-activated. Shit!!!! what was wrong now. Did i have a dot in the wrong place or did I capitalise a letter i shouldn’t have?
So i had a look and clicked the link that said “reasons for de-activation” and to my horror I got the message that the destination url was wrong. Clickeres were getting a 404 page could not be found warning.
I make this mistake all the time. I leave the “g” our of mortgage. I had http://www.mortage.webseo.com.au instead of http://www.mortgage.webseo.com.au. A simple mistake which has cost me over $100 so far this week.
So, for anyone setting up campaigns with Google Adwords, make sure you have checked every link and every letter yourself before allowing any campaign to go live. It might cost you a click, but in the long run it saves you money.

Optimization techniques to add your website to the Google Search Engine. Google is the Big Daddy of them all and serious traffic can be obtained by being well listed in this search engine.
Getting Google to index your website.
Method 1. Add your url to Google. This is a free and easy method, but if you don’t have other sites linking to yours then you still may not be indexed immediately.
Method 2. The second method of getting your site in Google is to let it find you on its own. This works by getting other sites that are already listed in Google to link to you. When Google revisits these sites, it will find your link and go to your site and index it. You will want to “announce” your site to others, and try to get other relevant web sites to link to you. Google “works” by following links, and finding who is linked to who.
